Count down

Ok, so we are about 8 weeks out from the big Due Date! For those of you who might be curious, we did end up in at the hosptial last week, and after 2 hours on the monitor at he hospital, nothing was happening. I was having contractions prior to the visit, but they thought I was dehydrated. So they sent me home and everything is fine. I've been working alot lately which is tiring, but better to do it now right?

The baby's room is beginning to come together. Just about all of the studio and office have been removed. We bought a bunch of baskets to put on the shelves in the office since we don't have a dresser/closet. Though we still need a few more, but we bought all that Homegoods had in Naperville. So if anyone lives close to a Homegoods store, in the kids section there are rectangular white baskets, very plain, with a handle on each of the shorter ends. The biggest size is 9.99, the next smaller is like 7.99, then I think 6.99. So if you happen to see them, hook a girl up and I will pay you back. We have all the crib bedding waiting to be washed. Jeremy is currently working on the crib/changing table. Now its a matter of getting all the furniture in there and organizing, which I am lucky enough to have friends that are willing to help me do all that stuff. I did find a really cute brown chenille rug for the room for half price at Hobby Lobby. I hesitated when it came to buying blue baskets, because I'm starting to get a vibe that the baby might be a girl. . .and I don't want to overdo it with the blue in the babe's room. Maggie keeps telling me there is "girl in there" and she points to my belly. So we'll see. Not too much longer.

Jeremy's work has been busy. He hasn't been playing a ton of shows, but he has been playing here and there. He is currently working on a top secret project, so be on the lookout for somethign special.

As for Maggie, she is just a chatterbox. She has jumped from single words to rediculously long sentences that she says so fast you can only hear bits and pieces. If you ask her what a witch says, she says, "I'll get you pretty." Then she adds a little evil chuckle. Its quite amusing.

Thats life at the Keen household, and I'm off to do laundry.

Punkins and Pumpkins

So I wanted to first update everyone to let them know that my tooth needs no new crown. Merely minor filing should smooth it out and leave me with a free fix! YEAH!

Also, we went to the pumpkin patch with some awesome friends on Sunday afternoon. I am throwing some pics of us and the punkin looking for pumpkins. We had a good time and Maggie just loves punkies, as she calls them. She is pretty cute. Check them out!

Ice Ice Baby

So, as alot of pregnant women do, I have been obssessed with chewing ice. Its delicious and crunchy and just about the best thing to munch on. If its in a glass with any sort of refreshment, I find myself avoiding the actual drink and instead trying to suck up the ice and crunch away. The problem with this is that I have terrible teeth. I think I have a filling in just about every tooth in my mouth except a couple in the front. I even have a crown (onlay) on one of my molars where they took out a huge filling and decided to do something a little more long lasting. However, since I have had onlay, its broken twice I think and been replaced as many times. And what to my wondering tongue did appear yesterday? Well, let me tell you! A little jagged edge on the tooth that has the onlay. Not so good. It appears to be right along the edge of the onlay, so thusly, I have either chipped or cracked my tooth, or I have chipped or cracked another onlay. So far it doesn't hurt, though I have begun to notice a little sensitivity. I'm not looking forward to going back to the dentist yet again. Last time I had to have it replaced was the day I went back to work after Maggie was born, it broke into pieces and fell out of my mouth leaving only half a tooth. So I had to go immediately to the dentist to have it fixed. This seems more minor and may even be repairable without replacing the actual onlay. Say a prayer for me, because I really don't want to pay to have this fixed again. Maybe its time for a full crown instead of an onlay. So thank you ICE ICE BABY, and even though I feel this chip or crack, I still want to eat more ice so badly. And mostly I chew on my right side, which is where the only is. I don't know if I can avoid chewing the ice. . .so I'm not sure what to tell my good ol' chomper Doc. HELP!
